I’m Michael Sharp — a strategic leader, creative producer and long‑standing advocate for inclusive, people‑centred organisations. My career has taken me across the IT & Digital sector, the arts, and the non‑profit world, giving me a rare blend of operational depth, creative insight and governance experience. Over the past two decades I’ve led teams and organisations through transformation and growth, most recently as CEO of Hope Support Services, where I oversaw everything from service delivery and fundraising to HR, IT, finance and national partnerships. Before that, I spent many years heading IT & Data functions across charities and large organisations, driving digital adoption, leading complex projects, and ensuring compliance in fast‑moving environments. (Responsible for the day to day running of the IT Department… Managing projects using both Prince2 and Agile methodologies.) Alongside my executive work, I’ve been a Trustee of The Courtyard Theatre since 2012, championing the arts and supporting strong governance within one of Herefordshire’s most important cultural institutions, working with the Board and senior management team to ensure good governance. My roots in the arts run deep — I originally trained in dance at Ballet Rambert — and that creative foundation continues to shape how I lead, communicate and build teams today. Whether I’m developing strategy, producing creative work, or helping organisations navigate change, my focus is always the same: clarity, integrity, and making a meaningful difference.
